Yes, many of our floor tiles are compatible with underfloor heating systems, and this is clearly indicated on each product listing. Porcelain and ceramic tiles are particularly well suited to underfloor heating because they conduct and retain heat efficiently, helping to keep your rooms warm and comfortable.

For bathrooms, kitchens, utility rooms, or any area that may get wet, we recommend choosing tiles with an anti-slip rating. You can filter our floor tile range by anti-slip options to find suitable products. Always check the slip resistance rating (R-rating) on the product page to make sure the tile meets the requirements for your intended space.

Some of our floor tiles are rated for outdoor use, but not all indoor floor tiles are frost-resistant or suitable for exterior applications. To calculate how many tiles you need, measure the length and width of your room in metres and multiply them together to get the total square meterage. We recommend adding at least 10% extra to your order to account for cuts, waste, and any future replacements. Most product pages include a tile calculator to make this process straightforward.

The recommended grout joint width depends on the size and type of tile, but for most floor tiles a joint of 2mm to 5mm is typical. Larger format tiles generally benefit from slightly wider joints to accommodate any minor variation in tile size or subfloor levelness. Always follow the tile manufacturer’s guidelines and consult with your installer for the best result.
