Onix tiles are an excellent choice for bathrooms, en suites, and kitchen splashbacks where you want to introduce an opulent, luxurious feel. Their small format and gloss finish work particularly well in compact spaces, as the light-reflecting surface and marble effect help a room feel brighter and more open.

One of the great advantages of Onix is that its small format size is designed to suit a variety of layouts. For Onix tiles, a 2mm grout joint is typically recommended to maintain the clean, refined look that complements the marble effect. Using a light or ivory-toned grout will help preserve the tile’s elegant aesthetic, while a contrasting grout colour can be used to highlight a herringbone or basket weave layout.

Onix tiles are wall tiles and are not rated for floor use due to their high gloss finish, which would present a slip risk underfoot. We recommend keeping them on vertical surfaces such as bathroom walls, shower enclosures, and kitchen splashbacks where they can truly showcase their crystalline marble effect.
