    Frequently Asked Questions

Skins Artenisa is available in three distinct design colourways: Artenisa Coal, Artenisa Taupe, and Artenisa Pearl. Each colourway offers a different mood, from the deep drama of Coal to the warm neutrality of Taupe and the soft, light tone of Pearl, making it straightforward to find an option that complements your existing decor. If you would like to see samples before committing, we recommend ordering these in advance of your full purchase.

Each roll of Artenisa measures 53cm wide by 1005cm long (approximately 10 metres in length). To calculate how many rolls you need, measure the perimeter of the walls you plan to cover and divide by the roll width, then account for the height of your walls and any pattern repeat. Because Artenisa features a repeat pattern, you will also need to factor in some additional wastage when cutting each drop to align the design correctly.

Artenisa is a pattern-repeat wallpaper, and it is important that the pattern at the end of one roll lines up with the pattern at the start of the next roll for a seamless finish. This means you will need to allow for some extra material when cutting drops to ensure the design aligns correctly across joins. We recommend taking time to plan your hanging sequence before you begin, particularly if you are covering a large wall or working around windows and doors.

Artenisa is a non-woven wallpaper, which means it is generally easier to work with than traditional paper-backed wallpaper. Non-woven wallpapers are typically hung by applying the adhesive directly to the wall (paste-the-wall method) rather than to the paper itself, which reduces the risk of tearing or stretching. Always follow the specific adhesive manufacturer’s guidelines and check the instructions provided with your Artenisa rolls before starting.

Yes, Artenisa is well suited to both bedrooms and living rooms, where its refined pattern can be used to create a standout feature wall or an all-over decorative scheme. The Coal colourway works particularly well for a bold, dramatic bedroom feature wall, while Taupe and Pearl lend themselves to softer, more relaxed living spaces. As with all wallpapers in the Skins range, Artenisa is not recommended for high-moisture areas such as bathrooms or kitchens.
