The Carrara Blanco Pulido is specified for wall use only, so it is not recommended for floor applications. Its polished finish is ideal for creating a luxurious marble effect on bathroom and kitchen walls, but the smooth surface would not provide adequate slip resistance underfoot. Rectified means the tiles have been precisely cut to exact dimensions after firing, resulting in very straight, consistent edges. This allows for a much thinner grout joint – sometimes as little as 2mm – which gives walls a seamless, near-continuous marble effect that is particularly striking in bathrooms and kitchens. It does require careful, accurate installation on a flat, well-prepared surface to achieve the best result.

Because each box contains just 2 tiles covering 1.43m², it is important to calculate your splashback or wall area carefully before ordering. Measure the total area in square metres, divide by 1.43 to find the number of boxes required, and always add at least 10% extra for cuts, especially around sockets, windows, and awkward corners. Ordering a little extra upfront is advisable, as the Carrara range is subject to availability and batch variations.
