The Porcelanosa Mombasa Prada Acero tiles are designed specifically for wall installation in bathrooms and kitchens, making them well suited to humid and splashback-prone areas. As ceramic wall tiles, they are inherently moisture-resistant on the surface, and the rectified edges allow for tight grout joints that help minimise water ingress behind the tiles. However, please note these are rated for wall use only and should not be installed on floor surfaces.

Each box of Mombasa Prada Acero contains 3 tiles and covers 1.62m². To calculate how many boxes you need, measure the total wall area in square metres, deduct any windows or doors, and divide by 1.62. We always recommend adding around 10% extra to your order to account for cuts and wastage, particularly given the large 45x120cm format which may require more cuts around features such as sockets and niches.

The matt finish on the Mombasa Prada Acero tiles is a practical choice for kitchen walls as it tends to show fewer fingerprints and glare compared to a gloss tile. Regular wiping with a damp cloth and a mild, pH-neutral cleaner is all that is needed to keep the grey and silver stone effect looking its best. Avoid abrasive cleaning products or scourers, which could mark the ceramic surface over time.
