Unlike genuine natural stone such as marble or limestone, porcelain stone-effect tiles like the Ocean range do not require regular sealing and are far more resistant to staining and moisture. A simple routine of sweeping and mopping with a mild cleaner is all that is needed to keep them looking great.

Stone-effect tiles are designed with variation between individual tiles to replicate the natural look of real stone, so some degree of difference in pattern and tone from tile to tile is intentional and desirable. To achieve the most natural result, mix tiles from several boxes during installation rather than working through one box at a time.

A good-quality, flexible floor tile adhesive appropriate to the tile size is recommended for the Ocean range. If you are laying them in a wet area such as a bathroom, use a waterproof adhesive and grout to ensure the installation remains stable and watertight over time.
