What design styles work best with Porcelanosa 59.6x150cm wall tiles?

The range caters to a wide spectrum of styles – sleek, glossy finishes suit minimalist and modern interiors, while rustic, matte textures complement more traditional or industrial schemes. The extensive colour palette, from soft neutrals to bolder tones, means these tiles can anchor a design or act as a subtle backdrop depending on your vision.

Is professional installation essential for 59.6x150cm wall tiles?

Given their considerable size, we strongly advise using a professional tiler experienced with large-format wall tiles for this category. Tiles of 150cm in length require careful handling to avoid cracking, precise adhesive coverage to eliminate hollow spots, and accurate levelling to ensure the finished surface looks flawless.

How do I choose between the glossy and matte finish options in this range?

Glossy finishes reflect light beautifully and can make smaller rooms feel brighter and more open, though they do show watermarks and fingerprints more readily and will need more frequent wiping down. Matte finishes are more forgiving in busy bathrooms and kitchens, hide everyday marks more easily, and lend a warmer, more tactile quality to a scheme.

How do I work out how many 59.6x150cm tiles I need for my project?

Each tile covers 0.894 square metres, so start by calculating the total wall area in square metres you intend to tile, then divide by 0.894 to get your tile count. Always add a minimum of 10% overage for cuts and wastage, and consider ordering a little more if your walls involve many awkward cuts around windows, niches, or pipework.

Are these 59.6x150cm tiles suitable for use in a wet room or steam shower?

Many tiles in this Porcelanosa collection are suitable for wet room and steam shower applications, but suitability can vary by specific tile and finish, so always check the technical datasheet on the individual product page before ordering. Correct installation is equally important – all joints, edges, and penetrations must be properly waterproofed to protect the wall structure behind the tiles.
