Each box of Metropolitan 45×120 cm tiles contains 3 tiles, so you will need to calculate your total wall area in square metres and divide by the coverage per box to work out your quantity – then add at least 10% extra for cuts and wastage. Because boxes contain only 3 tiles, it is particularly important to round up generously to avoid running short mid-installation.

Yes, the Metropolitan tiles are wall tiles suitable for bathroom and wet room wall applications. The matt finish gives them a sophisticated, understated look and tends to be more forgiving of water marks and fingerprints than a high-gloss surface, though regular wiping will still keep them looking their best.

Large-format tiles like the Metropolitan 45×120 cm require a very flat, even substrate – any unevenness in the wall will be more visible with a tile this size. Using a notched trowel with the correct size notch for full adhesive coverage is essential, and it is worth using a spirit level and tile spacers throughout installation to keep the large panels perfectly aligned.
