Yes, the Gattola Porcelain Tile is designed for both residential and commercial environments, combining sophisticated aesthetics with exceptional durability. This makes it a great option for high-traffic areas such as hotel lobbies, office reception spaces, or busy family homes.
The Gattola range is designed to deliver a sense of timeless elegance, making it well suited to interiors that aim for a refined, classic look. Whether used on floors or walls, the tile’s sophisticated finish elevates the overall feel of a room without appearing overly trendy or short-lived in style.
Absolutely – large-format tiles like the Gattola can be installed in a variety of laying patterns, including straight grid, brick bond (offset), or even a diagonal layout, each of which creates a distinctly different visual effect. We recommend discussing your preferred pattern with your tiler before ordering, as some patterns require additional tile cuts and therefore a higher wastage allowance.
Gattola porcelain tiles are low-maintenance by nature – regular sweeping and mopping with a mild, pH-neutral cleaner is sufficient for day-to-day upkeep. Avoid acidic or bleach-based cleaners, and ensure grout lines are sealed where appropriate to prevent staining in busy areas.
As a general rule, we recommend ordering a minimum of 10% extra on top of your calculated square metreage to cover cuts, breakages during installation, and any future repairs. If your room has an unusual shape or you plan to lay the tiles diagonally, consider increasing this to 15% to be safe.
