The flat finish offers a smooth, understated surface that keeps the focus on the tile colour and pattern, while the bevelled finish has a gently angled edge that catches the light and adds a more traditional, handcrafted quality. If you are going for a period-accurate Victorian look, the bevelled option is often the more authentic choice.

A moldura tile is a decorative border or trim tile that is designed to frame or finish off a tiled area with a neat, polished edge. The coordinating moldura available with the Modern Heritage collection is ideal for capping the top of a half-tiled wall, creating a dado rail effect, or adding a period-appropriate finishing detail around a fireplace surround.

The Modern Heritage collection is available in 6 different colours, all carefully chosen to coordinate with one another as well as with a wide range of interior colour schemes. This makes it straightforward to mix tones across a space or to select a single colour that complements your existing fixtures and fittings.

The Modern Heritage tiles are ceramic gloss wall tiles and are not recommended for floor use, as the gloss surface does not provide sufficient slip resistance underfoot, particularly in wet areas. For a coordinated Victorian-style scheme, it is worth pairing them with a complementary floor tile that is specifically rated for floor use.
