Both ranges share the same 10 x 10cm format and are available in a variety of colours, but they differ in finish. The Riad tiles feature a gloss finish, which reflects light and can make a space feel brighter and more open, while the Sahn tiles have a matt finish for a softer, more understated look. Your choice between the two will largely come down to the style and atmosphere you want to create in your room.
Yes, both the Riad and Sahn tiles are wall tiles well suited to wet areas such as showers, bathroom splashbacks, and around baths. We recommend using a waterproof tile adhesive and grout specifically rated for wet environments to ensure a long-lasting, watertight finish. If you are tiling a shower enclosure, make sure the substrate is also properly waterproofed before laying the tiles.
Absolutely – mixing colours from the Riad and Sahn collection is a great way to create bespoke patterns, borders, or colour-block effects. Because all tiles in the collection share the same 10 x 10cm dimensions, they align perfectly with one another for a seamless finish. You could even combine the gloss Riad and matt Sahn finishes in complementary colours for an interesting textural contrast.
For the 10 x 10cm format, a 2mm tile spacer is commonly used to achieve a neat, uniform joint that suits the small scale of the tile. If you prefer a more contemporary grout-free look, a 1mm spacer can also work well, though this requires a very flat and even substrate. Always check that your chosen grout is suitable for the joint width you select.
At 10 x 10cm each, you will need approximately 100 tiles per square metre before accounting for grout joints. In practice, with standard 2mm joints, the figure is slightly under 100, but ordering on the basis of 100 tiles per square metre gives you a sensible buffer. We always recommend adding an extra 10% on top of your calculated total to cover cuts and any breakages during installation.
