The Dover Acero is a ceramic wall tile rated for use in bathrooms and kitchens, making it appropriate for shower walls and wet area applications when correctly installed with a waterproof adhesive and grout. As with any wall tile in a wet room, it is essential that the substrate is fully tanked and that all joints are sealed properly to ensure long-term water resistance behind the tile.

Each box contains 5 tiles and covers 1.66 square metres, which is a slightly different coverage to some larger-format tiles, so it is important to use this figure when calculating quantities. Measure your total wall area in square metres, divide by 1.66, and round up to the nearest whole box – then add a 10% wastage allowance for cuts and trims to avoid running short mid-project.
