It is important to note that these tiles are rated for wall use only, so they should not be used on bathroom floors. Ensuring correct waterproof preparation and the use of suitable adhesive and grout for wet areas will keep them looking great for years.

Each box of the Jarel Oak contains 5 tiles and covers 1.35m², so for a 4m² kitchen wall you would need a minimum of 3 boxes. However, we recommend ordering an extra 10% to account for cuts around sockets, windows, and cabinets, so ordering 4 boxes would be a sensible choice for this area. The large 900 x 300mm format means each tile covers a significant area, which can speed up installation but also means cuts can use up a greater proportion of each tile.

The 15 unique face variations on the Jarel Oak Slat Tiles are designed specifically to replicate the natural randomness of real wood, meaning the pattern will not appear obviously repetitive across a large wall. When installing, we recommend laying the tiles out on the floor first to distribute the different face variations evenly before fixing, which will create the most realistic and natural-looking result. The warm brown matt finish and the slat-style wood effect further contribute to a varied and authentic appearance across the full surface.
