The Pixel Hexagon White Matt tile is rated for both floor and wall use, and at just 6mm thick it is well suited to bathroom walls, shower areas, and floors with lower foot traffic. However, if you plan to use it on a bathroom floor, do check with your installer that the subfloor is adequately prepared, as the mesh-backed mosaic sheets require a flat, stable surface for a secure finish. The matt finish offers better grip than a gloss tile, which is beneficial in wet bathroom environments.

Each box of the Pixel Hexagon White Matt 23 x 23mm contains 10 mosaic sheets and covers 0.78 m². Measure the height and width of your splashback area in metres and multiply them together to get the total square metreage, then divide by 0.78 and round up to the nearest box. It is always advisable to order an extra 10% to cover cuts around sockets, outlets, and edges.

The Pixel Hexagon White Matt tiles come on a mesh backing, which makes them considerably easier to handle and position than individually laid tiles of this size. Each sheet measures 300 x 260mm, so they can be cut with tile nippers or a wet saw to fit neatly around corners, sockets, and other obstacles. Because the individual hexagons are only 23 x 23mm, you have a lot of flexibility when trimming sheets to achieve a clean, precise finish along edges.
