To calculate how many boxes you need, measure the height and width of your splashback area in metres, multiply them together to get the total square meterage, then divide by 0.92. We always recommend adding around 10% extra to your order to allow for cuts and any wastage during installation.

These tiles come on a mesh backing, which holds the individual 50x50mm hexagons in place and makes installation much more straightforward than laying individual mosaic pieces by hand. Each sheet measures 325x282mm, so you simply cut the mesh to fit awkward areas rather than cutting individual tiles. A standard porcelain tile adhesive is suitable for these tiles; for wet areas such as shower enclosures, be sure to use a waterproof adhesive and grout to ensure a fully sealed finish.
