The Ona Blanco features a white concrete effect, whereas the Ona Natural carries the same pattern in a grey tone – both share the same 33.3 x 59.2cm size, ceramic material, and matt finish. For a small bathroom, the Ona Blanco’s white colouring is generally the better choice, as lighter tones reflect more light and help the room feel larger and more airy. The large-format tile size also reduces the number of grout lines, which further contributes to a more spacious feel.

The matt finish on the Ona Blanco does not show fingerprints or smears as readily as a high-gloss tile, which is a practical advantage in a kitchen environment. For everyday cleaning, a damp cloth or mild household surface cleaner is all that is needed to keep the ceramic surface looking fresh. Avoid abrasive scourers, which can dull the surface over time, and ensure the grouted joints are periodically checked and re-sealed behind areas prone to grease and steam, such as a hob splashback.

A splashback of 2m x 0.6m gives you a total area of 1.2m². Each box of the Ona Blanco contains 8 tiles covering 1m², so you would need at least 2 boxes to cover that area. However, because the tiles will need to be cut to fit around plug sockets or the edges of your units, we would recommend ordering 3 boxes to give yourself a comfortable allowance for cuts and any accidental breakages during installation.
